Therapy can provide a quiet and private place for you to discuss the difficulties and dilemmas you and a partner may have. People have often said to me that it feels safe to say things in the session, that they haven't been able to say elsewhere. Similarly, it can be possible in therapy sessions to feel properly heard by your partner, and to listen properly yourself.

You might come because:

What will happen

You will get the chance to say what you think. Both of you will be asked to comment on what the other has said, and interruptions aren't allowed! You may find it's safe to talk about things you couldn't say elsewhere. Through our conversations, we will work on finding ways forward to new solutions, or in some cases, look at how to separate in the best way possible. Frequency of sessions would be discussed with you. You might like to consider setting up a session to see what it's like.
